4 years agoCincinnati Reds DH Jesse Winker went 1-for-4 with a three-run homer in a 7-1 win over the Chicago White Sox on Friday. Winker took Chicago right-hander Jonathan Stiever deep in the third inning as part of a five-run barrage. The young hitter has enjoyed a mini breakout this season, slashing .263/.381/.556 with 11 homers, 23 runs, 22 RBI, and a steal. He has become a solid fantasy bat who is worth starting on most days in deeper leagues. Winker will take on Chicago lefty Dallas Keuchel on Saturday in what could be a tough matchup.--Matt T - RotoBaller
