Jesse Winker Stays Hot At The Plate
4 years agoCincinnati Reds designated hitter Jesse Winker went 2-for-3 with a solo homer and a steal in a 5-4 loss to the Kansas City Royals on Wednesday. Winker ripped a seventh-inning offering from Ian Kennedy over the fence for his third home run of the season. The veteran is now hitting .333 with seven runs and five RBI across 45 at-bats but he has been exceptionally hot at the plate of late, hitting .632 over his past seven games. Fantasy gamers will want to check the waiver wire in their leagues to see if Winker is available as he's worth riding while he's seeing the ball well at the plate.
