2 years agoCincinnati Bengals safety Jessie Bates III won't report to training camp on Tuesday. The franchise safety will holdout until he gets a new contract. However, the deadline for a long-term extension has already passed. The 25-year-old already said that he won't play on a franchise tag. At this point, Bates getting traded seems like the best resolution considering the circumstances. There is still time for Bates to change his mind or the two sides to resolve their differences. Although, it seems unlikely that Bates is going to suit up for the Bengals anytime soon.--Andy Webb - RotoBaller
