2 years agoThe Miami Marlins placed first baseman Jesus Aguilar and outfielder Jesus Sanchez on the IL for undisclosed reasons. We know the drill by now, this is very likely a COVID-related designation. Aguilar has a .251/.303/.425 slash line with nine homers and Sanchez has a .222/.267/.418 slash line with eight homers. They're similar players in that they strike out way too much and are unlikely to hit for a high average, but will bash some homers and can get very hot at times. In most leagues they're replaceable and will this IL stint you should look for a different option if you are carrying them, unless you have an open IL spot. Lewin Diaz and Jerar Encarnacion have been recalled to replace the pair.--Matt Garon - RotoBaller
