4 years agoMiami Marlins first baseman Jesus Aguilar hit his first home run of the season in Friday's loss to the San Francisco Giants. In all, Aguilar went 1-for-4 with a run scored and two RBI. His home run was a ninth inning two-run shot that made it a 5-3 loss for the Fish instead of a 5-1 loss. Aguilar has been hitting well enough so far this season, posting a .283 average with a .775 OPS, but he's been in a bit of a power outage. After having a bunch of balls die at the warning track for outs lately, it was good to see Aguilar power one over the fence, even if the wind may have given it an extra push.--David A Marcillo - RotoBaller
