6 years agoMilwaukee Brewers first baseman Jesus Aguilar (rest) will not play on Tuesday against the Chicago Cubs. With Eric Thames returning to the roster, Aguilar's time at first base will be drastically cut as a result. While he will get all the starts against left-handed pitchers, his status as an everyday first baseman is officially gone. The Brewers plan to use Thames in the outfield as well to get him starts, so when that happens, Aguilar will get priority at first base but for now. It's a little premature to drop him, as he still may get the majority of the starts at first base.--Caden Inaba
