Jesus Luzardo Allows One Run To Dodgers
2 years agoMiami Marlins starting pitcher Jesus Luzardo performed admirably against the formidable Dodgers lineup Friday, allowing one run on four hits and two walks in 6 1/3 innings. He struck out seven batters, but was left with a no-decision in the 2-1 loss as the Miami offense couldn't get much going against Los Angeles starting pitcher Tyler Anderson. Luzardo has put together a strong August, with a 2.70 ERA and 0.90 WHIP with 24 strikeouts in 23 1/3 innings. If he finishes the season strong, he could climb up draft boards heading into 2023.
