Jesus Luzardo Allows Two Runs Versus Dodgers
4 years agoOakland Athletics starting pitcher Jesus Luzardo allowed two runs in 5 1/3 innings pitched in a no-decision versus the Dodgers on Wednesday. Luzardo struck out six to put up a decent start for fantasy managers that trusted the lefty in a tough matchup. Luzardo labored all afternoon allowing four walks and five hits while needing 104 pitches. The fact he was able to cobble together a decent start against this Dodgers lineup shows maturity from the 23-year-old. He's got a 6.10 ERA through 10 2/3 innings this season but faced two tough matchups to start the season. Keep Luzardo in starting lineups for an easier outing in his next start versus Arizona.
