4 years agoOakland Athletics starting pitcher Jesus Luzardo had a night to forget on Friday as he allowed six runs in 3 1/3 innings pitched at San Francisco. Luzardo allowed nine hits and two walks while only striking out three in his worst start in the Majors thus far. Friday's game was the first start this season Luzardo failed to complete five innings nor record five strikeouts. It was an off night for the rookie but fantasy managers will need to take the bad with the good with the top-prospect. He has a nice chance to bounce back in his next start at home vs a Diamondbacks lineup that is 25th in the Majors in OPS vs left-handed pitching.--Mike Schwarzenbach - RotoBaller
