2 years agoMiami Marlins left-hander Jesus Luzardo (forearm) is expected to begin a rehab assignment on Saturday with Single-A Jupiter. Luzardo has been sidelined since May 10 after he strained his left forearm, posting a 2-3 record, 4.03 ERA, 1.17 WHIP, and 41 strikeouts in 29 innings before the injury. The 24-year-old southpaw is likely to need several rehab starts thanks to the length of time that he has been on the shelf.
