2 years agoMiami Marlins left-hander Jesus Luzardo struck out five batters in five innings against the Cincinnati Reds in his latest start on Monday. Luzardo also scattered just three hits and a pair of earned runs in five innings, throwing 81 pitches on the day. Overall, it was a solid outing for the starter, who logged 12 swinging strikes on the day and finished with a 31% CSW rate. He's now sporting a 3.97 ERA and a 3.35 FIP, to go along with 46 strikeouts and 16 walks, in 34 innings of work this season.--Ben Rosener - RotoBaller
