3 years agoThe New York Jets have been a rumored candidate to land San Francisco 49ers wide receiver Deebo Samuel after he officially requested a trade last week. However, the Niners have no interest in trading the star pass-catcher, so there's a good chance he remains in San Francisco. A ransom for Samuel could persuade a trade, but the 49ers aren't actively looking for such a trade. If the Jets can't trade for Samuel, they "think extremely highly" of North Carolina State tackle Ickey Ekwonu at pick No. 4.
