Jets Defense Still Banged Up Heading To Philadelphia
5 years agoThe New York Jets Defense is still dealing with multiple injuries after their bye week as the team heads to Philadelphia to face the Eagles. Star linebacker C.J. Mosley (groin) did not practice all week and is doubtful to suit up Sunday. Defensive lineman Quinnen Williams (ankle), the team's first-round pick this year, also has the dreaded doubtful tag for Sunday with a sprained ankle. In addition to the defensive injuries, the Jets will be starting third-string QB Luke Falk so the defense could be on the field a lot and in bad field position. The Jets defense is not a recommended fantasy play on the road against an Eagles offense that just put up 34 points last week at Green Bay.
