Jets Defense Stymies Steelers
5 years agoThe New York Jets Defense played a strong game Sunday, holding the Steelers to 10 points in a game Pittsburgh had to have to keep control of their playoff lives. The Jets intercepted quarterback Devlin Hodges twice to force Mason Rudolph into the game, as Pittsburgh could get nothing going on offense with either QB. The Jets are simply a different unit when safety Jamal Adams is healthy, as No. 33 was everywhere big plays were being made after the Jets defense looked lifeless without him in their last two games. They are a startable unit in Week 17 versus a Buffalo offense that figures to be resting key starters ahead of wild-card weekend.
