3 years agoThe New York Jets placed running back Tevin Coleman and cornerback Zane Lewis on the Reserve/COVID-19 list on Thursday. At this point in the week, it's unlikely that Coleman will be able to clear the league's protocols in order to play in Week 17 against the Tampa Bay Buccaneers. It's great news for fantasy managers that were planning on starting Michael Carter after he saw 16 carries for a season-high 118 yards in the Week 16 win over the Jacksonville Jaguars. The Buccaneers are one of the worst matchups for RBs in fantasy, but Carter figures to see an increase in work in the passing game with Coleman likely out this weekend and receivers Jamison Crowder and Elijah Moore looking unlikely to play as well. Ty Johnson will have change-of-pace duties behind Carter, but Carter will have more low-end RB2 appeal if Coleman doesn't get cleared.--Keith Hernandez - RotoBaller
