Jets Take Zach Wilson At No. 2
4 years agoThe Jets selected BYU quarterback Zach Wilson with the No. 2 overall pick in the 2021 NFL Draft on Thursday night. The 21-year-old has plenty of hype after spending multiple seasons at the collegiate level. However, he truly made his mark during the 2020 campaign after compiling 3,692 yards through the air to go along with 33 touchdowns and just three picks. He also had 10 rushing touchdowns and completed nearly 74 percent of his passes. While the lack of quality competition for the Cougars during Wilson's breakout season raises some concerns regarding his true effectiveness under center, the young signal-caller has plenty of talent surrounding him to be one of the most efficient rookies in the league. Fantasy managers in dynasty formats should keep him on the radar since the upside is there, although reaching for him is not recommended.
