6 years agoThe New York Jets will work out free-agent placekicker Dan Bailey (Cowboys) on Monday. In one of the bigger surprises among the weekend cuts, Bailey was waived in favor of Brett Maher as the team trimmed its roster down to 53 players. He leaves as the franchise leader in field goals, and second-most accurate kicker in league history. The Jets current have Jason Myers on their roster, as he edged out Taylor Bertolet for the job. Wherever Bailey lands he will be a fantasy asset, even if it is outdoors playing half of his home games at Met Life Stadium for the mediocre Jets.--Daniel Dobish
