6 years agoMilwaukee Brewers catcher Jett Bandy has been designated for assignment after the Brewers traded for Erik Kratz from the New York Yankees. So far this season, Bandy is only hitting .188 with a .533 OPS so his defense that he brings to the table clearly is not enough to carry his hitting. With Stephen Vogt out for the entire year, the Brewers could be in the market for a catcher at the deadline this year, despite Manny Pina's solid defense behind the plate. Some names could include J.T. Realmuto if the Marlins decide to trade him. For now, Bandy holds no value in all formats.--Caden Inaba
