Jhoulys Chacin Pitches Six Innings Of No-Run Baseball
7 years agoMilwaukee Brewers starting pitcher Jhoulys Chacin went six innings, giving up four hits, three walks and striking out five in the 8-0 win over the Miami Marlins. Not only was this Chacin's longest outing of the season, but it was also his first quality start and win of the season. Chacin will need to pitch well in order to keep his spot in the rotation, as Wade Miley is most likely joining the team in a couple weeks along with Jimmy Nelson at the All-Star Break. With this game, Chacin is 1-1 with a 4.18 ERA in 23 2/3 innings pitched. He should not be owned in shallow mixed leagues, but he can be a desperation streamer in favorable matchups.
