3 years agoTampa Bay Rays' first baseman Ji-Man Choi went 1-for-4 with a three-run homer in Sunday's 6-4 loss to the Angels. He went deep off Angels pitcher Mike Mayers in the sixth inning for his third long ball of the season. It was the 30-year-old's first homer since May 21. Choi is slashing .271/.386/.435 across 101 plate appearances in 2021. The Rays left-hander is starting to heat up and is hitting .556 (5-for-9) with one homer, five RBI, and three runs scored over his last two games. Choi is a decent option in deep-league formats and can be used as a streamer while he's wielding a hot bat.--Brad Camara - RotoBaller
