7 years agoArizona Diamondbacks relief pitcher Jimmie Sherfy has been called up from Triple-A Reno Aces on Sunday. After Troy Scribner's disastrous start on Sunday, and with the Diamondbacks rotation getting back on track for the meantime, this can allow a call-up option for mid-relief for the Diamondbacks. While Sherfy will hold no fantasy relevance behind Brad Boxberger and Archie Bradley, he looks to be a promising pitcher with a 2.25 ERA and a 1.17 WHIP with 18 strikeouts in 12 innings pitched for the Aces.--Caden Inaba
