2 years agoSan Francisco 49ers defensive back Jimmie Ward (hamstring) was placed on the injured reserve list on Wednesday. As a result, he will miss at least four games, although he could be out longer. The veteran has played his entire career with the Niners, accumulating 401 total tackles (303 solo), 39 passes defensed, six forced fumbles, four picks, and three sacks. With that said, Ward hasn't been a serviceable fantasy option throughout the years, so managers aren't likely to lose any sleep over the latest update.--Dennis Clausen - RotoBaller
