2 years agoSan Francisco 49ers quarterback Jimmy Garoppolo (shoulder) resumed throwing two to three weeks ago, according to a source with knowledge of the situation. Dr. Neal ElAttrache, who performed Garoppolo's surgery, has been working in conjunction with the 49ers while Garoppolo has been rehabbing in LA. He's expected to make a full recovery. Jimmy G could still be traded before the 2022 season, but the Seattle Seahawks and Houston Texans seem like long shots. The Cleveland Browns could be an option with a potential season-long suspension looming for Deshaun Watson. We'll have a better read on the 30-year-old's progress from shoulder surgery in training camp, but if he remains with San Fran into the start of the regular season, Garoppolo could be on the bench behind Trey Lance.--Keith Hernandez - RotoBaller
