7 years agoSan Francisco 49ers quarterback Jimmy Garoppolo says he's much more comfortable running the offense this year. "Sometimes, he would call something, and I'd be in the game like, 'I'm not sure what this side has, but I know what this side has, so we're going to run it to this side. So now it's full understanding and things slow down, which in a quarterback situation is the best thing," Garoppolo said. The needle is pointing way up for Garoppolo in a rising offensive system under head coach Kyle Shanahan.
