Jimmy Graham Does Not Play in Preseason Game
6 years agoGreen Bay Packers tight end Jimmy Graham did not play in Friday’s preseason game against the Oakland Raiders. Green Bay rested most of their starters in the game. While it is good that Graham wasn’t opening himself up to getting injured, it would have been nice to see him and Rodgers on the field together. We have not seen Rodgers or the recently signed Graham play more than one drive this preseason. Rodgers traditionally doesn’t utilize the tight end much, but there is optimism that will change. Rodgers has never had a tight end to throw to as talented as Graham. A lot of that will come down to how much Graham has left in the tank. However, even if he has a lost a few steps he should still be a dangerous weapon in the red-zone. Graham will be a useful fantasy player but is not worth an early round selection.
