Jimmy Graham Hauls In Touchdown On Nine-Target Night
5 years agoGreen Bay Packers tight end Jimmy Graham may not have had a flawless night during Thursday’s loss to the Philadelphia Eagles, but he dialed back the clock somewhat by hauling in six receptions for 61 yards, including his second touchdown of the year. The nine targets that Graham saw from quarterback Aaron Rodgers are his most in a contest since Week 13 last season vs. Arizona, while the yardage output is his highest mark since Week 6 of 2018. After back-to-back contests in which Graham failed to record a catch on just a single target, his performance Thursday has thrust him back into a crowded lower-tier of tight end options. Should Davante Adams (toe) miss time, Graham is likely to become a favored target of Rodgers’ -- especially in the red zone -- as soon as next Sunday’s meeting against Dallas.
