6 years agoDetroit Red Wings goaltender Jimmy Howard is the probable starter for Saturday's game against the Philadelphia Flyers. Howard has been sensational lately, putting up a .947 save percentage during his past two starts (both wins). The Red Wings have been lackluster this season, but without Howard, they would be even further down the standings. The veteran netminder has recorded a 17-15-5 record to go along with a 2.74 goals-against average and .915 save percentage. The Flyers have been hot lately and are right in the midst of the Eastern Conference playoff race. With that in mind, desperate fantasy managers can utilize Howard is they have no better options. --Raymond Harrison - RotoBaller
