Jimmy Nelson Happy With Progress
7 years agoMilwaukee Brewers starting pitcher Jimmy Nelson (shoulder) said he's happy with the progress he's making in his rehab. “The progress has been impressive and I’m pretty proud of how far I’ve come already," Nelson said. The right-hander was having a very successful year before suffering his shoulder injury in September, and he finished with a 12-6 record, 3.49 ERA, 1.24 WHIP and 199 strikeouts in 175 1/3 innings over 29 starts. While he may be a little late to the party at the beginning of the 2018 season, he showed last year that he'll remain a big part of the rotation when healthy.
