Jimmy Nelson Set For Return
5 years agoMilwaukee Brewers starting pitcher Jimmy Nelson will make his first MLB appearance since September 8, 2017 on Wednesday against the Miami Marlins. Miami is sending out a nearly identical lineup to the one that scored 16 runs on Tuesday, with catcher Bryan Holaday behind the dish instead of Jorge Alfaro as the only change. That said, it's the time off, not any sudden potency in the Miami lineup, that makes Nelson a risky play in both standard leagues and DFS Wednesday. However, he should certainly be rostered at this point after posting a 12-6 record, 3.49 ERA, and 199 strikeouts in 175 1/3 innings in 2017.
