4 years agoArizona Diamondbacks relief pitcher Joakim Soria allowed two runs on three hits with one strikeout in one inning of work in Wednesday's 8-0 loss to the Marlins. Making his first appearance since being activated from the injured list, Soria managed to record 13 strikes on 19 pitches, but his fastball velocity was down about two to three miles per hour from his first appearance of the year back on April 4. Soria figures to get a shot at save opportunities, but managers should exercise caution when considering targeting him.--Michael Grennell - RotoBaller
