4 years agoOakland Athletics relief pitcher Joakim Soria earned his first save of the season Monday against the Angels. Soria was called on to protect a 3-0 lead and he made things interesting. He allowed two baserunners which would give Mike Trout a chance to come up as the tying run with two outs. Soria caught the Angels star looking to end the game and preserve the win for the A's. Closer Liam Hendriks was presumably unavailable after recording a four-out save Sunday, so Soria isn't a priority add in most fantasy leagues.--Mike Schwarzenbach - RotoBaller
