3 years agoArizona Diamondbacks relief pitcher Joakim Soria has been traded to the Toronto Blue Jays for two players to be named later, according to Nick Piecoro of the Arizona Republic. Soria has had decent value with Arizona this year, going 1-4 with six saves, a 4.30 ERA, 1.330 WHIP and 24.8 percent strikeout rate over 29 1/3 innings of work. He'll figure to be a middle-relief option for the Blue Jays, making him really only an option in SV/HLD formats. With Soria leaving Arizona, Tyler Clippard is now likely next in line for the closer's job for the Diamondbacks.--Michael Grennell - RotoBaller
