5 years agoThe Los Angeles Dodgers are sitting their left-handed hitters Joc Pederson and Alex Verdugo against Giants ace Madison Bumgarner. Pederson has struggled to hit southpaws this year at a .167 average with no home runs while Verdugo has missed time with a back injury lately perhaps giving him a day of rest. Both are off to great seasons and should be out there when they take on the Angels in an interleague series Monday night. Kyle Garlick and Chris Taylor are taking their places in the outfield while Kike Hernandez moves up to the leadoff spot in the rubber match.--Riley Mrack - RotoBaller
