Joc Pederson Blasts Solo Home Run In Victory
4 years agoChicago Cubs outfielder Joc Pederson continues to enjoy the month of May. The slugger went 1-for-3 with a two runs scored, one walk and a solo home run on Friday versus the St. Louis Cardinals. The home run was the outfielders first since April 7. Pederson has been on fire and now has seven multi-hit games in May. Pederson has been leading off versus right-handed pitchers and should be started during his hot streak. Pederson is now hitting .269 on the season with two home runs and 12 RBI. Pederson hasn't shown much power this year and managers can only hope that his home run on Friday is a sign of things to come.
