Joc Pederson Crushes Seventh Home Run
3 years agoChicago Cubs outfielder Joc Pederson continues to see the ball well and went 1-for-4 with a solo home run in Wednesday's victory versus the San Diego Padres. Pederson crushed a solo home run off of Yu Darvish in the top of the fourth inning and that would tie the game at 1-1 at the time. Pederson had a rocky April and spent some time on the injured list with a wrist injury, but he has been very productive since his return in early May. The slugger is now hitting .238 with seven home runs and 22 RBI. Pederson remains a solid source of power for managers that could deal with the dip in batting average.
