Joc Pederson Is Warming Up
4 years agoChicago Cubs outfielder Joc Pederson went 3-for-4 with a run scored and two RBI in Sunday's loss versus the Pittsburgh Pirates. Pederson entered the game in the top of the first inning when Jake Marisnick injured himself on defense. Pederson got off to a brutal start with his new club, but has picked things up since returning from the injured list with a wrist injury. Since his return, Pederson has seven hits in 17 at-bats with four RBI. Pederson remains best served as a cheap power option that will hurt managers batting average. The lefty slugger will look to keep his hot streak up in a tough matchup against Shane Bieber on Tuesday.
