Joc Pederson Not Starting On Wednesday
3 years agoAtlanta Braves outfielder Joc Pederson isn't in the team's starting lineup on Wednesday as they take on the St. Louis Cardinals and left-handed starter J.A. Happ. Pederson is enjoying a solid season at the plate, hitting .248 with a .313 on-base percentage, 13 home runs, and a pair of stolen bases in 358 plate appearances. He's been particularly effective since being dealt to the National League East club, batting .318 with a .366 on-base percentage and two home runs in his first 71 plate appearances for his new team. Atlanta is going with Adam Duvall, Guillermo Heredia, and Jorge Soler in the outfield from left to right against Happ. Of the three, Soler is probably the best option for fantasy managers in search of a streaming option in the outfield. The 29-year-old is hitting .280 with a .379 on-base percentage and seven home runs in his last 58 plate appearances.
