6 years agoLos Angeles Dodgers outfielder Joc Pederson collected four hits on his 27th birthday Sunday in Milwaukee, and he has also reached double digits in home runs heading into the new scoring period. The four-hit game was the fourth of his career, too. He started the season hitless in nine at-bats against left-handed pitching, but manager Dave Roberts showed confidence by leaving Pederson in during the sixth against a southpaw reliever. It paid off with an infield single, so perhaps Roberts will not continue to shield Pederson from facing lefties like in the past. Fantasy owners would certainly love to see that.--Daniel Dobish
