4 years agoChicago Cubs outfielder Joc Pederson finished 0-for-4 with a RBI on Sunday versus the Pittsburgh Pirates, but remains hitless in 10 at-bats with one walk and two RBI on the season to go along with five strikeouts. Pederson came over from the Los Angeles Dodgers this offseason and was scorching hot during the spring with eight home runs, but it hasn't translated in a small sample size so far. Pederson will be given every opportunity to hit against left-handed pitches this season and managers should remain patient with the slugger. Pederson will eventually get going and will be a nice source of home runs for managers, just be aware that it will come at the cost of a low batting average.--Daniel Burdeen - RotoBaller
