Joc Pederson Resting On Monday
4 years agoChicago Cubs outfielder Joc Pederson will rest on Monday versus the Washington Nationals. Pederson has been scorching hot and has hit .349 over the past month in 49 at-bats. Pederson has been getting starts versus lefties this season, but manager David Ross has chosen to have him rest against Jon Lester. With Pederson on the bench, Kris Bryant will move to left field and Matt Duffy will start at third base. Duffy has been hitting the ball well of late and makes for a good option in DFS. Pederson should be expected to return to the lineup on Tuesday versus left-hander Patrick Corbin.
