5 years agoLos Angeles Dodgers outfielder Joc Pederson is sitting versus Diamondbacks left-hander Alex Young Saturday while Kristopher Negron takes his place in the lineup. The 27-year-old is batting a paltry .176 off southpaws this season, and likely won't get many starts versus these hurlers down the stretch run with Negron hitting well lately. Pederson has impressed this year with 24 homers in 106 games, but his ceiling is capped with his inability to produce against lefties. Pederson should return to the leadoff spot Sunday with right-hander Mike Leake taking the hill in the series finale.--Riley Mrack - RotoBaller
