2 years agoTexas Rangers relief pitcher Joe Barlow (finger) has been activated from the 10-day injured list on Wednesday. The 26-year-old has been sidelined since mid-July due to a blister on his finger. He returns to an impressive 3.26 ERA, 1.02 WHIP and 23/8 K/BB ratio over 30 1/3 innings. The expectation is that he'll resume his role as the primary closer in Texas. He should be ready to come out of the bullpen for Wednesday's contest.
