3 years agoCincinnati Bengals quarterback Joe Burrow has played better than expected throughout Weeks 1 and 2, especially for a player who sustained a severe knee injury during the 2020 campaign. The former LSU Tiger currently has four touchdowns to his credit, a number that is complemented by a 68.4 completion percentage. While Burrow's three interceptions are somewhat disheartening, he has plenty of serviceable weapons in his arsenal, specifically Joe Mixon, Ja'Marr Chase, Tyler Boyd, and Tee Higgins (shoulder), to keep things moving in the right direction against Pittsburgh. Although Higgins likely won't be in the lineup in Week 3, the sophomore signal-caller should still be considered a must-start in Superflex formats. However, his value in 10-12 team leagues isn't as high. Yet, Burrow has the potential to make some noise, especially with the Steelers defense operating without Carlos Davis (knee), Alex Highsmith (groin), and potentially T.J. Watt (groin). Joe Haden (groin) practiced fully on Friday, which isn't good news for Burrow. Still, he could do enough offensively on Sunday to be relevant from a fantasy standpoint, including in GPP DFS contests.--Dennis Clausen - RotoBaller
