Joe Burrow Leads Bengals To AFC North Title, Suffers Knee Injury
3 years agoCincinnati Bengals quarterback Joe Burrow (knee) led his team to an AFC North title and its first playoff berth since 2015 during the Week 17 win over the Chiefs. It wasn't easy as Cincy would win on a buzzer-beater field goal from Evan McPherson, but Burrow had a fantastic showing, nonetheless, finishing with 446 yards and four touchdowns off 30-for-39 passing. The sophomore signal-caller has been on a roll over the last two weeks. However, he reportedly sustained a right knee injury, although fortunately, it isn't the same one that cost him the remainder of his rookie campaign. Burrow downplayed the significance of the ailment, a sentiment echoed by head coach Zac Taylor. Yet, with the Bengals guaranteed a postseason trip, it's conceivable the 25-year-old could see a limited workload (or not play at all) during the Week 18 season finale against the Cleveland Browns.
