Joe Burrow Will Be Tested In Professional Debut
4 years agoCincinnati Bengals quarterback Joe Burrow will have his hands full when he makes his professional debut against the Chargers. Burrow, who was drafted No. 1 overall in the 2020 NFL Draft, had a productive career while serving as the signal-caller at LSU. However, with the league opting to forego preseason play due to the COVID-19 pandemic, the rookie has many question marks surrounding his outlook, especially early in the season. Although Burrow has all of the tools necessary on the receiving end, head coach Zac Taylor may play it safe and rely heavily on Joe Mixon, primarily since Los Angeles had some rough outings against running backs in 2019. While the 23-year-old could surprise everyone in Week 1, fantasy managers may want to start someone else at the position, if able, until Burrow demonstrates he is comfortable in his new environment.
