Joe Flacco Does His Job In Week 11
3 years agoNew York Jets quarterback Joe Flacco was asked to step in and make the start against the Miami Dolphins in Week 11. The veteran QB is technically the third string on the roster. However, Zack Wilson (knee) is sidelined and Mike White threw four interceptions last week. Surprisingly, Flacco actually looked fairly decent against the Dolphins. He completed 24-of-39 passing attempts for 291 yards and two touchdowns with zero interceptions in the loss. He did lose a fumble, but did his job in this one. It's uncertain if the Jets plan on continuing with Flacco as the starter going forward. He could have some low-end streaming appeal against the shaky Houston Texans defense next week.
