2 years agoNew York Jets quarterback Joe Flacco will start in Week 1 on Sunday against his former team, the Baltimore Ravens, according to sources. Regular starter Zach Wilson (knee) is progressing well, but he's not quite ready to return. With Wilson not available until Week 4, the Jets will roll with the 37-year-old Flacco until then. Flacco received positive reports in training camp this summer, and he'll have an upgraded receiving corps to work with, including Elijah Moore, Corey Davis, rookie Garrett Wilson and Braxton Berrios. At best, though, Flacco will be a low-end QB2 play for those desperate in superflex leagues, and his presence under center should lower the Jets receiving weapons' fantasy ceiling early on.--Keith Hernandez - RotoBaller
