6 years agoDetroit Tigers reliever Joe Jimenez tossed a perfect inning with two strikeouts in the nightcap of a doubleheader against the Yankees Monday, recording his 11th hold in the process. Jimenez has been excellent all season long, working to a 2.45 ERA and 1.06 WHIP with 30 strikeouts in 29 1/3 innings of work. From a fantasy perspective, he obviously has the most value in holds leagues, but he is great for your pitching ratios and as a handcuff candidate should anything happen to closer Shane Greene. He's only owned in six percent of leagues, so if he works in your format, definitely take a look.--Tyler Germain - RotoBaller
