7 years agoMinnesota Twins first baseman Joe Mauer (concussion) reportedly isn't close to being cleared for game action. Sadly, Mauer's concussion symptoms returned last week, but he resumed workouts this week without any issues yet. The Twins have not announced a timetable for Mauer and he'll still need to go on a rehab assignment before returning to the Twins. Fantasy owners can go ahead and drop Mauer in most mixed leagues for another bat. He doesn't have enough upside to hold onto through the injury.--Andy Webb - RotoBaller
