7 years agoMinnesota Twins first basemen Joe Mauer and Logan Morrison have both passed through revocable waivers, according to a person with direct knowledge. The Twins can now discuss a trade with other teams until Aug. 31. Mauer has a full no-trade clause and is still due $6.92 million through the rest of the year. He's hitting .275 with only three home runs, a .357 on-base percentage (second lowest of his career) and a .367 slugging percentage (career low). Morrison has been a bust after breaking out for the Rays in 2017, although eight of his 15 home runs this year have come since June 23. On the year overall, Morrison is hitting just .195 and is only a power option for those in AL-only leagues.--Keith Hernandez - RotoBaller
